Robert Schultz is committed to helping people and improving our system of justice. Bob is widely recognized for his dedication to clients and trial advocacy skills. For nearly 25 years, he has worked on cases involving serious motor vehicle crashes and catastrophic injuries. Bob has worked extensively for insurers and thoroughly understands how cases are evaluated and resolved.
Bob continuously works to improve our justice system by actively participating in several noteworthy organizations. He has served on the Benton-Franklin Legal Aid (BFLA) board since 1997 and as president since 2006. BFLA utilizes pro bono attorneys to assist the poor of our community who have nowhere else to turn.
Bob also believes a well educated public is critical to our democracy and to our justice system. To this end, Bob has taught a fifth-grade Junior Achievement course and volunteers as a judge for the Pasco High School “We the People” program.
Bob served on the Mid Columbia Library Board for twenty years (1987-2007). During his tenure as Board Chair, Mid Columbia Library, (a system of 11 libraries serving the Benton and Franklin Counties), the libraries became automated, two new branches were built in Kennewick and West Richland, and the existing Pasco and Kennewick branches were remodeled. In 2008, he was appointed as the first-ever honorary trustee.
Many people with legal problems first encounter financial difficulty. Bob serves on the Board of Directors of Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Tri-Cities and was elected president of the Board 2008-2009.
Bob is also serves as Judge pro tempore for the Benton-Franklin Superior Court and has served on the Board of Directors for Pasco Kiwanis, Pasco Downtown Development Association, and the Pasco Chamber of Commerce.

Outside the Office
Bob enjoys snow skiing, golfing and scuba diving. He has three beautiful daughters. In 2002, Bob successfully competed in “Titanium Man” Triathlon Competition.
